The Warwick Turf Club has been named the best wedding function centre in the Southern Queensland Country region at the Wedding Industry Awards in October 2022.
The club received the top-notch winners award for wedding venue and also highly commended in the wedding venue – coordinator category.
Warwick Turf Club chief operations officer Kristen Doyle said the club was thrilled with the win.
“In 2021, the title of function coordinator was added to my role here at the club because I’ve always had a passion for event planning,” she said.
“Myself and our junior vice president Eric Standing have managed the functions and wedding receptions and take great pride in making sure the bride and groom leave happy on the night and that all guests have enjoyed a happy and safe experience at the club.”
A wide range of events can be held at Warwick Turf Club due to its excellent location.
The club is situated in a great location and it is private and secluded.
“You have the whole venue to yourself,” Ms Doyle said.
The club has big plans for the Kidszone Australia Trackside Pavilion which can seat around 500 people.
“The venue has great potential and people are starting to see that and I’m so proud of the Club, as all the hard work is now paying off.”
The Wedding Industry Awards, formerly known as Brides Choice Awards, acknowledge businesses that have exceeded the expectations of newlywed couples.
Awards provide recognition, support, and rewards for wedding businesses in regional areas of Australia.
