Dig out the tinsel and baubles and get ready to decorate the tree because the magic of Christmas is coming to the Anglican Parish of Warwick.

The third annual Community Christmas Tree Festival plans are underway with an inaugural pop-up Twilight Christmas Gift market on the Thursday afternoon of the Christmas Tree Display.

Warwick care agencies and community groups are invited to showcase their Christmas spirit by decorating a tree for the Festival.

Parish Rector Lizzie Gaitskell said we would love to have a tree decorated by your organisation and ask for your commitment to this fantastic community project to celebrate.”

Trees will be set up by your members on Sunday 18 December from 12 – 2 pm and or Monday 19 December from 10 am-noon and displayed in St Mark’s Church in Grafton Street and open for public viewing from 5 pm to 7 pm, between Tuesday 20 December and Friday 23 December.

“We supply the tree, but volunteers and staff of your organisation decorate the tree with your choice of items,” Rev’d Gaitskell said.

“We ask that battery-operated lights be used if utilising this feature.”

“The display will incorporate an A4 description of your organisation’s help services, vision for our community, and the decorations featured.”

“This should be written double-spaced, Century Gothic type, size 14 font.”

“We would kindly ask that you supply two copies, our Parish Office will laminate them if required,” she said.

Additional information can be obtained by phone or email to the parish office.
