Cuddly Kenny is great with kids

Kenny is gentle and playful.

Kenny is the last remaining pup of The Aussie Hero Litter of four Stumpy-Tail Cattle Dog mix puppies, born on 14 September 2022.

Kenny’s the only pup in the litter with a full-length tail and looks more Ridgeback than Cattle Dog.

He is named after Sister Elizabeth Kenny, an Australian nurse who founded an alternative treatment for polio that helped hundreds of children walk again – a true Aussie hero.

Gentle, playful, and confident, Kenny’s a sweet-natured and affectionate pup that would make a delightful addition to any dog-loving home. He loves human company but is not needy.

He is great with children and lives happily in a private foster home with numerous other dogs.

Kenny enjoys paddling and swimming at Leslie Dam.

He has learnt to walk quite well on a slack lead.

He is not a barker and he is not interested in climbing fences.

Preference will be given to homes where someone is around most of the time and/or there is another compatible dog for Kenny to play with.

He would do equally well as a single dog or in a multi-dog home.

As always, secure fencing is essential.

If you are interested in meeting Kenny and can offer him a suitable, safe, and loving forever home,

Please complete the online adoption application at southerndownsark.com.au/apply-to-adopt/ and one of our volunteers will be in touch.

His adoption fee is $650. He is desexed, vaccinated and microchipped. He is also flea and worm-treated.
