QCWA helps region’s students

QCWA Condamine Valley/Warwick Branch recently announced their three Bursary winners for the 2023 year.

“Our branch is delighted to advise that one student from Warwick and two from Stanthorpe have been awarded a $2000 Bursary each to assist them as they commence their tertiary studies,” the QCWA Condamine Valley/Warwick President and Bursary Organiser, Penny Campbell-Wilson said.

“Miss Indigo Bensley Douglas, a Grade 12 graduate from The School of Total Education, Warwick has commenced her studies at RMIT, Melbourne where she will study a Bachelor of Fashion Design; Joshua Paech from Severnlea, a graduating Grade 12 from Stanthorpe High was also successful and Joshua has commenced his Bachelor of Veterinary Science (Honours) at Gatton College; and Miss Allegra Daveson from Ballendean, a former Stanthorpe High student, received a $2000 Bursary and Allegra has chosen dual subjects of Mathematics and Commerce at Queensland University.”

QCWA Condamine Valley/Warwick Branch is able to financially assist this year’s three students through the sale of the sandwiches, and refreshments, at our rooms situated at 76 Grafton Street, Warwick.
