Entertainment by Fern Brothers Music, hosted by Jumbo and Silky from Scraping the Dulux hosting it was an event were many a tall tale and true were told and enjoyed by all.

Chief operating officer Kristen Doyle said that the event was a one of a kind for the club and the idea was pitched by marketing manager Bubbles Barbierato.

“The event was absolutely wonderful, the sun was out and the drinks were flowing,“ she said.

“The gourmet food by Melinda & Sharnie from Top Paddock Catering was divine.

“A 150 year history booklet was supplied by the Club with some very interesting information. Warwick lays claim to holding the first sprint race and first women jockeys under the control of the Downs and South West Racing Association.

“I just have to say that the past and present volunteers should be very proud of the Clubs accomplishments and our achievements to date will just keep on thriving and progressing forwards as they have, especially over the last two years with the support from Racing Queensland.

“Also the Club is indeed grateful of our loyal supporters over the years who have trusted the Club with their sponsorship and branding.“

Requested by all, let’s make this an annual event!
