Warwick’s pet community welcomed a new player as PetBarn officially opened its doors on Saturday 25 November, creating a buzz that had eager shoppers forming a line out the door.

Located on Albion Street, the large yellow building is hard to miss.

Sharni, the store manager, expressed the community’s anticipation, noting the strong demand for PetBarn’s services in Warwick.

“Most people normally go to Toowoomba for their services, so there was a real need for our presence here,“ she explained. In the week leading up to the grand opening, the store had to turn away eager customers eagerly awaiting the arrival of PetBarn.

The official opening ceremony was marked with an extra dose of delight, thanks to the presence of a few adorable kittens that stole the show. RSPCA contributed to the celebration by donating kittens for adoption, accompanied by Christmas badges and cards perfect for stuffing stockings.

Children in attendance were treated to snow cones and fairy floss, creating a festive atmosphere as they excitedly explored the aisles, undoubtedly urging their parents to consider a new addition to the family. The community’s warm reception and the lively atmosphere at the opening day signalled a promising start for PetBarn in Warwick, offering pet enthusiasts a convenient and vibrant destination for all their furry companions’ needs.
