Friday’s festivities commence with the Prime Cattle exhibit at 8am, showcasing some of the finest livestock on the Southern Downs. The Killarney Show takes pride in presenting one of the region’s best and largest Prime Cattle exhibits, culminating in an auction at 11am. Meanwhile, the Pavilion entries close at 9am, reopening for viewing at 2pm after Friday’s judging.

For photography enthusiasts, Killarney’s scenic beauty offers a captivating backdrop, with locals showcasing their best shots throughout the day. As the evening unfolds, the Killarney Show Rodeo returns at 6pm, featuring the highly anticipated Bulls, Barrels & Bulldogging event, proudly sponsored by Killarney Butchery.

Saturday’s schedule is packed with excitement, catering to families and children alike. The Entertainment Marquee and Side Show Alley promise hours of fun and giveaways, while the kid’s area outside the Pavilion offers a variety of activities and exhibits, including the Big Bang Science Fair and Bunnings Kids Craft.

Gates open at 9am, ushering in a full day of events including Stud Cattle, Woodchop, Horse Events, Showjumping, Ute Muster, and live entertainment under the marquee. As the sun sets, the Show Ring comes alive with a vibrant evening programme featuring motorbike racing, hay cart races, potato sack races, and the crowd-favorite Fireworks sponsored by Rosehill Sandstone, followed by the Smash Up Derby, sponsored by Ryanie for Tyres.

The Killarney Show is renowned for its impressive Lego Display, featuring six classes catering to various age groups and a new section for adult Lego enthusiasts.
