The Warwick Show and Rodeo Society is proud to present the highly anticipated 2024 Pet Parade as part of the annual Warwick Show.

Taking place on Friday, 22 March, this event promises a day of furry fun and excitement for pet owners and their beloved companions.

Starting at 10.30am with entries opening, the judging kicks off promptly at 11am in the Kevin Thumpkin Pavilion.

Pet owners are encouraged to bring their favourite furry, feathered, or even scaly friends for a chance to showcase their unique talents and personalities.

The Pet Parade features an array of categories designed to celebrate the diversity of our beloved animal companions. From the Best Dressed Pet to the Pet with the Best Trick, there’s a category for every pet to shine. Other categories include Best Pet and Owner Look-Alike, Most Unusual Pet, Smallest Pet, Biggest Pet, and even Best Non-Living Pet, ensuring that every pet, regardless of shape or size, has a chance to strut their stuff.

Participation in each category requires a $1 entry fee. It’s a small price to pay for a chance to showcase your pet’s talents and win fantastic prizes.

However, organisers emphasise that safety and responsibility are paramount. All pet handlers must be capable of restraining their furry friends, and handlers must be 15 years of age and under. Proof of age may be required to ensure the safety of both participants and spectators.
