A man has been hospitalised and taken to Brisbane with “life-threatening” injuries after falling out of a ute in Killarney on Friday morning.

Police were called to the incident at the intersection of Acacia Street and Willow Street just after midnight on 21 June.

Warwick Police officer-in-charge Shane Reid said the man suffered “serious injuries” when falling out of the ute and “striking the road”.

Paramedics were called to the scene and transported the man to Warwick Hospital in a critical condition. He was later taken to Brisbane’s Princess Alexandra Hospital.

A spokeswoman for QAS said the man had “sustained life-threatening head injuries”.

Forensic crash investigators are understood to be investigating the incident.
