Despite a cold winter evening, over 30 people turned up for the Tannymorel Hall Soup and Sweets night.

Typically held on the fifth Sunday (if it occurs) of the month, the event brought friends, neighbours and guests together in a hall rich with history.

Keeping community halls like Tannymorel open and vibrant is no small feat, with Public Liability Insurance, Volunteers Insurance, and power being the biggest challenges. That’s why fundraisers throughout the year are so important.

A thriving community hall is more than just a building; it’s a place where friendships bloom, isolation fades, and a sense of togetherness grows stronger.

This year, the Tannymorel community is excited to join the Jumpers and Jazz Festival by hosting the Tannymorel Jazz Feast on Saturday, July 27th, from 6:30 pm. Featuring Jumpers and Jazz favourite Freud Squad performing, along with a scrumptious three-course dinner and a well-stocked bar. It’s shaping up to be a night full of laughter, dancing, and great company.

To make things even more convenient, the committee has arranged a bus service to and from Warwick so you can let loose and enjoy the evening worry-free.

Don’t miss out on this fantastic opportunity to support a local hall and enjoy a night of great music and community spirit!
