The first week of the Jumpers and Jazz Festival in Warwick concluded on a high note, with crowds packing the town’s centre.

The main event for the weekend featured three stages with live bands playing jazz, a vibrant display of cars, and an array of enthusiastic festival-goers.

Festival organizer Bette Bonney expressed her delight with the turnout.

“It was packed absolutely up the park in the middle of the town up the front of the post office,” She said.

“The people were just stoked. They just were so happy and kept saying what a wonderful day it was.“

One of the week’s highlights was Australia’s largest jazzercise class, held on Saturday morning. While the attempt to break the world record fell short, the event set a new Australian record with 300 people in attendance, adding another accolade to Warwick’s history.

“Next weekend, is our big Stroll and Swing and then Sunday is Potter’s Markets with the Jazz Arena so that’s our big weekend that we are all looking forward to.” Ms Bonney said.

In addition to the major events, the festival continues throughout the week with live performances in front of the Town Hall.

“We’ve got people performing in front of the Town Hall, different ones down here at certain times of the day, so we’re inviting people to come and look at that,“ Bonney added.

With the first week’s success setting a positive tone, the Jumpers and Jazz Festival promises more music, creativity, and community spirit as it continues to delight both locals and visitors.
