The winners of the 20th Yarnbombed Tree Exhibition were announced at Warwick Art Gallery on Saturday 20 July.

The announcements were made by gallery director Karina Devine in front of a large crowd. Certificates were presented by major sponsor Kylie White from Saturn Electrical and Warwick Art Gallery treasurer and sponsor Laura Babington from Condamine Accountants.

Judging the eclectic exhibition is never easy but this year’s judge. Leanne Wicks, with experience as an exhibiting artist and facilitator of community art projects, was perfectly suited for the task.

Judging commenced on Thursday 19 July and took seven hours to complete.

“Thank you for seven hours of excitement, appreciation and joy viewing and judging tree jumpers”, Leanne said.

”Using the judging criteria and listening to those jumpers that stayed in my mind, I made my choice and added a special “judge’s choice” award”
