Warwick is gearing up for an afternoon of fun, food, and family-friendly festivities at the upcoming Country Spring Fair.
On Saturday 5 October in Leslie Park, the event promises to bring the community together to celebrate the region’s agriculture, talent, and rich heritage.
Attendees can look forward to a packed schedule, featuring highlights such as the thrilling Butcher BBQ competition and the Local Produce & Artisan Markets, where visitors can explore fresh produce and handcrafted goods.
There will also be live entertainment throughout the day and free children’s entertainment to keep the little ones engaged and excited.
The live entertainment lineup is not to be missed, featuring some incredible performers:
Nine Year Sister from 1:00 PM to 2:15 PM
Jodie Ellis from 2:30 PM to 3:45 PM
A fun-filled Mascot Dance-Off
Mitch King from 4:15 PM to 5:45 PM
Mitch Smith from 6:00 PM to 7:15 PM
And finally, the Fern Brothers will close the event with a set from 7:30 PM to 9:00 PM.
One of the event’s key attractions is the series of Cooking Demonstrations using local ingredients, offering inspiration and tips for home cooks while showcasing the best of Warwick’s culinary scene.
Additionally, the fair will feature a nostalgic throwback to traditional country fetes, complete with old-school games, activities, and a warm, welcoming atmosphere.
For families, there will be no shortage of entertainment, thanks to the support of local businesses including Lister Irrigation, Saturn Electrical, and Condamine Accountants Pty Ltd.
The children’s entertainment lineup includes the Teacup Rides, a fair favourite, and an Interactive Circus Play Space where kids can engage with hula hoop performers, be amazed by stilt walkers, and even try out circus tricks themselves.
The fair will also feature over 20 market stalls from local makers and creators, offering unique handmade goods perfect for browsing. Attendees can also enjoy a selection of food and drinks throughout the day, with a licensed bar available on-site.
