Pork and Poultry held own

Rain was a slight factor as numbers were up for Cattle, down for Sheep & Lambs, Pork and Poultry held there own. The markets firmed to a shade dearer across the spectrum. The fresher forward types performed in the cattle sections as well as the upsurge in cow prices. Lambs were dearer across the categories, with light lambs showing an up-surge in value as well as hoggets, Export weight lambs were firm. Poultry prices were also on an upsurge.
