Agents and vendors combined to present a total yarding of 2547 head for the weekly sale. The yarding consisted of some good lines of western lambs as well as some fresh new season lambs and a mixture of mutton types as well as some ewe and lamb units. Good finished new season and export lambs were firm to a shade easier, with the lighter lambs probably dearer overall compared to last week. Lambs topped at $200 to av $142.31 ($12 down ), Hoggets topped at $147 to av $109.24 ($15 up ), Ewes topped at $131 to av $63.44 ($2 down ), Wethers topped at $131 to av $75.78 ($6 down ), Rams topped at $164 to av $87.23 ($20 down). The sale av of $125.37 per head was nearly exactly the same as the last sale .55c/head cheaper.
