It takes more than a severe weather event to keep Granite Belt off the greens.
Despite the adverse conditions last Saturday a
Band of brave or crazy (depending on your point of view) were out at the Wallangarra course playing a Single Stableford event.
Winner on the day was Brendan McMillan who finished ahead of runner up Dennis Ree.
Brendan also claimed the Nearest the Pin 3/15th and on the ninth Tony Murphy was the man.
This weekend officials and players are hoping for more ideal weather as they play for the February monthly Medal & Putting Competition which is sponsoredthe Railway Cafe Wallangarra.
Competitions planned for February include a 4Ball Aggregate (SherylWright) on February 9th. A Single Stable ford the following week and the month wraps up with a Two Ball Ambrose.
