The Jack Pot did not go off and will be $150 on 14th November. Congratulations to the winners of Domino’s Pizza Helena and Joe Lasak. Thank you to Domino’s for their sponsorship of this event each month. It is very much appreciated. Also thank you to Bing Hansen for organising this event which is enjoyed by everyone.

We had a Visit in from Capalaba on 13/14 October. Even though the weather was not inductive to bowling, 22 of our members turned up each day to welcome the visitors and to enjoy bowling with them. Our club really appreciated our members for doing this. Everyone certainly braved the weather, but thoroughly enjoyed themselves. Bowls was played Saturday afternoon followed by afternoon tea with all the beautiful home cooking which the city folk really enjoyed. On Sunday morning there was bowls again followed by a B.B.Q. lunch which the visitors, and our members, thoroughly enjoyed. our thanks to Capalaba for their generosity with raffles etc. Also thank you to everyone who assisted in making the weekend so successful – the ladies with their cooking, bar staff, green keepers, Russell for cooking such great steaks etc., and the members behind the scenes in the office.
