State title for Inch

Jeff Inch won the Men's A grade Bowhunter Unlimited division in last weekend's ABA State Titles.

Archers from across Queensland converged on Renegade Bowmen at Ipswich for the ABA State Titles which were held over Saturday and Sunday of the long weekend.

The State titles attracted a large number of competitors setting the stage for some strong and exciting competition from eager youngsters through to the experienced senior participants. Over the two-day competition there were four rounds of 20 targets each at unknown distances with a total of 1600 points on offer.

After the first day of competition only a few points separated the top placings and day two of competition was anyone’s game.

Stanthorpe Bowman, Jeff Inch held a slender four point lead at the completion of day one. On the second day of comepitition he extended that lead by 12 points finishing with an overall score of 1566 to take the title in the Men’s A grade Bowhunter Unlimited Division.
