Tricky wind no issue for McKillop

By Casey O'Connor

Shooters from the Southern Downs Rifle club enjoyed what was a beautiful morning to be outdoors last Sunday although there was a tricky little wind gusting just waiting to catch the unsuspecting off guard.

The experience of Richard McKillop was evident in the Open class as he dealt with the conditions scoring 123.10.

Nick Kent had only himself to better I the Standard class. Kent had a good shoot scoring 112.6.

The Sporter / Hunter class is growing in popularity and Merryn Snelling led the field in the class and earned family bragging rights when husband Gary finished in second place.
