The winner of the nett event on Saturday was Don Iedema with a great score of 65. It was just enough to edge out Ted King on a countback. The Sunday nett event was won by Jay Roberts. A brilliant par round giving him a nett score of 65 which was good enough to snatch a narrow win over Simon Macdonald. It was Macdonald’s best round for some time finishing with nett 66 off his eight handicap.
This week members will be playing in a red marker day sponsored by BNW Accountants. On Friday (the Warwick Show Holiday) there is a special par three competition. Golfers can have a quick game in the par three competition before heading off to the Show.
A reminder that the Lane Cup event which was postponed recently due to the heavy rain has been rescheduled and will be played on Sunday, 27 March.
