After a week of sleepless nights as organisers agonised over the weather forecasts the Warwick Cup meeting at Allman Park went ahead without a hiccup.
Local horses stole the show winning three races on the program including both the major races on the card, the Warwick Credit Union Warwick Cup and the Frasers Livestock Transport Newmarket. Excitement was high after the wins of locally trained Peta Calada and Magic in me saluted in the Newmarket. When the Les Clarke trained Military Kings easily won the Warwick Cup there were lots of tears and plenty of cheers.
