While the Champion Bull and Bronc riders from across the country prepare for the Warwick Rodeo there is one young rider who cannot wait to strut his stuff on one of biggest arenas on the Australian Rodeo circuit, the annual Warwick APRA Rodeo.

Thirteen-year-old Billy Gallaway from Stanthorpe has already made a name for himself competing in many events on the country circuit.

This weekend, Gallaway will saddle up in the Under-18 Breakaway Roping where he will team up with his seasoned roping horse Blackie.

However, the highlight for Billy will be competing in his favourite event, the Under 15 Mini Bull Ride.

He will face around 25 of the top competitors from Queensland and New South Wales and could not be more excited according to his mother Kim Gallaway.

It is not only Billy to keep an eye out for.

Watch out for his sisters, Maggie and Emily who will also fly the Gallaway family flag when they take their places in the Junior Barrel Race over the weekend.
