Cowboys back to the training paddock

The Warwick Cowboys Rugby League Club is not letting the grass grow under their feet with players set to head back to the training paddock.

Players will be back in the saddle within the next week with pre-season training set to start on Thursday 17 November at 6pm at Fr Ranger Oval.

There will be two training sessions after that which will be followed by two further session on will be on Thursday 24 November and 3 December.

The Cowboys held a meet and greet evening at the Warwick Golf Club on Wednesday to give players parents and families and supporters the opportunity to meet the Cowboys recently appointed 2023 A grade coach Colin Speed.

In other Cowboys club news, at the club’s AGM, which was held on Monday night, there were no nominations for the position of president of the club.

As a result, a special meeting of the club was due to be held on Wednesday (9/11) at the Condamine Club to again call for nominations for the position of President and also Vice president Secretary and Treasurer of the Club.
