Twenty-two was a popular score at Fr Ranger Oval, Warwick for the Toowoomba Rugby League local derby between home team the Cowboys and the Wattle Warriors.
While defending TRL premiers Wattles went down to the Cowboys 22-12 in the hotly-contested A grade clash Wattles had more success in earlier games defeating the Cowboys under 19 young guns 22-14.
The Wattles also won the Reserve Grade game by a healthy 26-6 margin.
