Game one: Les Williams and Joy Newman played against Pauline Smith and Jenny Tunbridge across all four games. Williams and Newman had four balls active after the first round, while Smith and Tunbridge only had three. The score was level pegging at one point at eight all, but inside the last ten minutes Williams and Newman sent Smith and Tunbridge’s balls off court. Smith and Tunbridge managed to catch back up to make it 11 all and with an agari to win by 13 to 11.

Game two: This game’s score was scrapped as a mistake was made during the game in calling the sequence of balls.

Game three: Smith and Tunbridge only had three balls active on the court until the third round. Smith scored an agari. Williams and Newman were only able to score one ball through all three gates. Smith and Tunbridge won 13 to 7.

Game four: A hard-fought match with Williams and Newman scoring two agaris. Smith and Tunbridge got three balls through gate three but were unable to score an agari. Williams and Newman won 15 to 12.
