Stanthorpe Netball reached the halfway point of what is shaping up to be a great season according to spokesperson Natalie Vedelago.
“The season has been going well. We have great numbers across all divisions reaching up to 170 players,” she said.
“Despite a few weeks of rain we have been able to play most weeks.
“We are halfway through the season and now move into a break over the school holidays.
“After the holidays we have plans for a double header which is a great day. It brings a great atmosphere and spirit as players get to play and watch other games in round robin set up.
“This weekend six representative teams, age 11/12 yrs, 13/14yrs, 15/16yrs and an opens team, will travel out to Roma for round three of the inter district tournament.”
