Good win for Giddy Gang

The young Giddy Gang team took it right up to competition front runners RPC in round five of the Supercamp Cup at Wirac on Thursday night.

Giddy Gang led through the first two quarters before taking the match 76-43 against the experienced RPC.

The young Giddy team led at the end of the first quarter 19 To 11 and were leading by 35-19.

RPC were playing without its top scorer Nelson Lotertrie and veteran Jonathan Cruda had to step up and step up he did, finishing with 26pts for RPC but it wasn’t enough to get the points.

Oliver Miller lead the Giddy Gang in scoring notching up 23 pts with Percy Mansfield scoring 21

In other round four results Desperado’s defeated The Left Overs 93-26 with Tom Cliff topscoring for Desperados and Jordan Kendall, the best for ) The Left Overs.

Ex Pats held out a strong challenge from Panthers to win 71-69 with Adrah scoring well for ExPats and Von Baldazano for Panthers.

Dream Team and Wickham played out another close one with DT winning 83-77 thanks to the efforts of Noah Dwan while Bob Campana was the topscorer for Wickham.

Week six tonight (15 August) sees 6pm: RPC take on The Left Overs and Panthers face Dream Team while in the 7pm slots Ex Pats play Giddy Gang and Desperadoes are up against Wickhams.
