Beautiful old cars from across Queensland and Northern NSW and way beyond sped round the roads of Leyburn at the weekend for the 28th running of Historic Leyburn Sprints.
The event commemorates the running of the Australian Grand Prix in the little Queensland town 75 years ago. And with such a big anniversary to celebrate this time around, the crowds and cars were out to make it a weekend to remember. Photographer Chris Munro, taking a break from chasing rally cars around Australia, was back to capture the colourful cars as they sped round the streets of Leyburn.
