STANTHORPE residents were inundated by more than 30mm of rainfall in a matter of hours on Monday, 16 September.
Residents reported heavy rain, hail and lighting strikes across the district, with not injuries or power outages reported.
The weather was expected to clear over the coming days with a 30 per cent chance of rain for the weekend.

Blokes’ dinner
JOIN members of the Warwick Men’s Shed for the “Dinner for David” lunch at the Enchanted Gardens on this Saturday, 21 September.
The lunch will give thanks to the late David McDonald who served the community many years in his refrigeration work.
All profits from the lunch will go to the local men’s shed group to help with their work fighting depressive illness.
The lunch will start at noon and will cost $40 per person.

THE Warwick Animal Welfare Association will be hosting a de-sexing and micro-chipping day on Wednesday, 25 September. Volunteers urge pet owners to please take advantage of this opportunity to de-sex pets.
