UNKNOWN offenders smashed a window and gained entry to a jewellery store on Palmerin Street, Warwick early on Friday morning.
The perpetrators stole an unknown quantity of jewellery. Police investigations are continuing.
Warwick police found a suspect cowering in a neighbouring yard when they investigated a break-and-enter in Wood Street late on Friday night.
A 24-year-old male was arrested and charged with two counts of break-and-enter and he will appear in Warwick Magistrates’ Court at a later date.

Public disorder
EARLY on Sunday morning police were called to a disturbance at a hotel in Palmerin Street, Warwick.
An 18-year-old woman was arrested and charged with creating a public nuisance and failing to leave a licensed premises when directed. She will appear in the Warwick Magistrates’ Court at a later date.
At 12.15am on Thursday Warwick police attended a disturbance near the corner of Albion and Wood Sts in the city.
A 31-year-old female from Warwick was arrested and charged with creating a public nuisance. She will appear in Warwick Magistrates’ Court at a later date.

Drugs charge
A 42-YEAR-OLD Warwick man is due to face court after police intercepted a vehicle on Bracker Road last Tuesday in relation to a traffic matter and found a small quantity of drugs and drug utensils. He was issued with a Notice to Appear at a later date.

Triple bingle
WARWICK police attended a three-car accident in Palmerin Street just before 10am on Saturday.
Police said investigations indicate a vehicle performed a u-turn in front of another car, causing the two to collide and then crash into a third parked vehicle.
The driver was issued with a traffic infringement notice for failing to give way when performing a u-turn, police said.

Drugs found
A 17-YEAR-OLD youth was issued with a Notice to Appear in the Warwick Magistrates’ Court because police allegedly found drugs after visiting the his home earlier in September.

POLICE remain concerned that some residents are inviting theft by leaving houses and vehicles unlocked and vulnerable to entry. A
