“Being yourself – holding true to your values” was the theme for the Year 12 graduation at the School of Total Education on Sunday.
Former parish priest at Warwick, Father Hal Ranger, was the guest speaker.
He gave the students some valuable advice about taking people as they are and treating them as individuals.
The students all had an opportunity to respond and spoke with gratitude
about their teachers, the school and their classmates.
The graduates’ plans are diverse and include Rotary student exchanges in Belgium and Brazil, full time work, university study in speech pathology, music and drama, psychology and gap years involving travelling and study.
“The School of Total Education is a big family and everyone present was very happy for the graduates,” principal Shane Power said.
“It was great to see the younger students attend to hear the graduates speak and to give them a warm send-off.”
