Missing woman makes contact

A WOMAN listed as missing since August has contacted family and police to assure them she is alive, but her whereabouts remains a mystery.
Warwick CIB detective Ryan Harmer confirmed that Tanya Buckland, 36, had made contact.
“She’s sent police and family members letters,” he said.
Detective Harmer said it was the first contact they had had since she was last seen on Palmerin Street, Warwick on 11 August.
In the meantime her mother had travelled from the United States in an attempt to locate the mother-of-three.
Police are still appealing for public assistance in locating Ms Buckland.
