WE all know science can sometimes be crazy, but primary students at The School of Total Education saw the Crazy Scientist himself in action.
The Queensland Arts Council’s touring performance Crazy Science: The Crazy Scientist Strikes Back visited the Warwick school recently.
The Crazy Scientist, Richard Scholes, kept the children intrigued and engaged throughout the entire performance as he demonstrated science with exciting experiments, some requiring student participation.
He combined science, magic tricks and comedy to explore the weather, the inner workings of the sun and planet earth – revealing answers to some of earth’s mysteries.
“Richard taught me about energy today and how everything needs energy to work,” said one student.
“I enjoyed watching his magical tricks”
