Police briefs

A CAR was stolen after a break-and-enter at a residence in Cosmo Lane, Cottonvale last Thursday.
Stanthorpe police said the occupants were in process of moving and had taken all possessions from the residence it was entered and keys to a vehicle were taken between noon on Wednesday, 12 February and noon the following day.
A 1995 White Commodore station wagon was taken from the driveway of the residence and later located 10km southwest of the The Glen on Pikedale Road.

Driver charged
A SINGLE vehicle rollover occurred on the Texas/Stanthorpe Road, Greenland at around 4am on Wednesday 12 February.
The vehicle was found by police with extensive damage and a 22-year-old male was charged with driving without due care and attention. The driver was uninjured.

Pub theft
A 24-YEAR-OLD man was charged with break-and-enter after he allegedly used an unlocked window to enter the accommodation section of Stanthorpe’s Central Hotel early on Sunday morning.
Police said a small amount of money was allegedly removed.
