Men urged to join Strong Fathers

THE Strong Fathers, Strong Families program for indigenous men will begin in Warwick on Wednsday, 5 March.
Run by Charlie Rowe for the Carbal Medical Centre, Strong Fathers, Strong Families focuses encouraging indigenous men to play an active role in family life, setting an example for their children.
The first session will run from 4pm until 7pm on Wednesday.
Indigenous men with kids in their lives, including fathers, grandfathers, uncles, and non-indigenous men with indigenous partners and kids are also welcome.
Those completing the Strong Fathers, Strong Families course of six sessions in a “yarning circle” format receive a shirt, backpack and certificate.
