A GROUP of 19 Veterans travelled to Glen Innes for their annual Veterans’ open day on Tuesday, 18 February. Tenterfield veterans performed exceptionally well with Neil Gale handicap (6) 43 points winning the “A” division. “B“ Division Rod Hair was third runner up and “C” Division John Gower was third runner-up.

On the local front, inclement weather resulted in only 13 starters with Patrick Duck scoring 42 points for the win with Richie Tweedale 41 points runner-up. Pam Brown and Bill Eastgate were the ball run down winners. Thanks Peter Brown for stepping in for me on the day.
