REHEARSALS for the School of Total Education’s (SOTE) production of Macbeth are in full swing with opening night on 30 May.
Production director, Colin Ally, said he was very happy with the progress of the students so far.
“We have a small but solid and dedicated contingent of students in this year’s Shakespeare project, Macbeth,” he said.
Mr Ally said the students had the opportunity to see a professional production of Macbeth at QPAC theatre in Brisbane last term.
“They are drawing on their experience of that show and bringing their own flavour to the production,” he said.
Macbeth is played by Oliver Howson and Lady Macbeth by Rita Bradshaw.
Full of deceit, deception, lust, loss, revenge and courage, Macbeth has the capacity to stir even the most reserved audience.
Don’t miss your opportunity to see Macbeth at the Vijayadev Yogendra auditorium at SOTE on 30 and 31 May.
Tickets are available for purchase now at The School of Total Education office, or phone: 4661 2666.
