A MAN miraculously escaped death on Monday morning when his semi-trailer rolled on its roof at Warwick, crushing him inside.
Emergency crews worked for about half an hour to rescue the trapped driver from the mangled cabin and to secure the diesel spill after the truck lost control at the McEvoy Street and Bracker Road roundabout about 8.05am.
Onlookers say they were gobsmacked the 22-year-old from Millmerran walked away from his rig, which was carrying a load of pig manure.
He was taken to hospital for observation with minor injuries.
The Killarney turn was closed for about an hour while tow truck drivers righted the severely damaged truck.
