Art of all sorts

By TANIA PHILLIPS

ARE you creative then the Warwick Artist’s group need you.
The group is going “FashionArty” – a mixture of fabric and fibre art including felting, dying, silk painting, screen printing, sculpture, leatherwork, quilting, you name it – and they want you to make it.
A parade and show will be held on 15 November at Williams Hall in Guy Street, Warwick, with the evening including bubbly and canapes as well as the parade of everything from “Wearable Art Couture” to “Fantastic Fantasy”.
It’s a chance for everyone to have fun and create anything that their imagination inspires them to do. You can make your entry out of everything from the finest silk to recycled plastic bags. If you can imagine it and crate it, we want it.
If you can’t sew, but can create out of metal, wood, plastic leather, even shoe laces or wire. The group would like to invite people who might like to stretch their creative juices to join in on the fun for “Fashion Arty”.
The club is already running classes to inspire and introduce new and exciting facets of creativity to those who would like to try something new and use the many crafts that they already have stored in their knowledge.
