Award-winning artist exhibits in Texas

Texas locals are in for a treat, with an exhibition by well-known Queensland artists Graham Smith on display at the Regional Art Gallery from next week.

THE Texas Regional Art Gallery is excited to host “Texas and Beyond”, an exhibition by well-known Queensland artist, Graham W. Smith.
Opening to the public on Tuesday 7 October, the show includes 37 works from the artist’s travels both around Australia and overseas.
Graham’s art career spans over 40 years during which he has produced in excess of 2500 paintings. He has won over 150 first prizes in all mediums.
A practising artist in oil, acrylic, watercolour, pastel and mixed media, Graham holds regular solo exhibitions and has conducted over 120 workshops.
He is a regular contributor to Australian art magazines, and an exhibiting member of the Royal Queensland Art Society and Pastel Society of Australia.
Visitors are encourage to call in and view the Texas exhibition which will be on display until Saturday 15 November. All works displayed in the exhibition are available for purchase. Gallery hours are Tuesday to Friday 10am to 4pm, and Saturday 10am to 1pm.
