AUSTRALIAN author and storyteller Nicole Alexander is on her way back to Warwick to a chat about her new book.
Hosted by Southern Downs Regional Council Libraries and the Warwick Art Gallery Nicole will appear as guest author at the Warwick Art Gallery on Friday 31 October, from 3.30pm.
Principal librarian Samantha Shelbourn said library and gallery staff were excited about Nicole’s return visit after last year’s successful event. On that occasion she talked about her novel Sunset Ridge this time it’s all about her latest offering The Great Plains.
“Nicole is returning to talk about her latest offering ‘The Great Plains’ which is an epic story about family, the American Wild West and the wilds of outback Australia,” Samantha said.
“She is the author of five novels: The Bark Cutters, A Changing Land, Absolution Creek, Sunset Ridge and The Great Plains (to be released November 2014).
“We look forward to welcoming Nicole again to the Southern Downs and we’re sure many local people will be interested to hear her talk about The Great Plains and have books signed.”
Anyone interested in attending can phone Warwick Library on 4661 0342. Hynes Newsagency will be selling copies of The Great Plains at the event.
