Airlifted after snakebite

A LITTLE girl has been airlifted on Tuesday after suffering a suspected snakebite.
The RACQ CareFlight Rescue helicopter was tasked to Goondiwindi Hospital just after midnight.
It’s believed the child had been bitten on the leg.
The toddler was flown to the Toowoomba Base Hospital for further tests, accompanied by her mother.
It is the eighth suspected or confirmed snakebite victim the rescue service has airlifted in 11 weeks.
