Last Saturday, the Akooramak staff had a bowls afternoon and barbecue. Many thanks to the bowlers who came along and helped out on the green as quite a few guests had never played before and thanks also to the boys who helped behind the bar.
I would like to take this opportunity to wish all our members and their families a wonderful Christmas and a happy and healthy New Year.
As mentioned earlier, the green is being renovated, so check the bowls notes mid January for when bowling can start again.
Many thanks to the Free Times for printing the bowls notes. It is very much appreciated.
