THE newly formed Warwick Holistic Health Group will host its inagural meeting at Warwick Library tomorrow night from 7pm.
Founder and homeopathic practitioner Raia Kousary said she saw the need to make a space available to bring together people who shared an interest in natural health to learn and network.
“Many customers in store have a keen interest in taking responsibility for their health in terms of achieving well-being and preventing ill health or exploring natural options for aiding recovery,” said Ms Kousary, practitioner at QLD Discount Vitamins.
The group will meet monthly on the second Thursday of each month at 7pm at the Warwick library meeting room, with interesting talks, movies, workshops and networking opportunities. However, the first meeting will take place tomorrow night.
“At this meet up, we’re looking at juicing,“ Ms Kousary said.
“It’s free and you can bring a friend.
“Coming up, we have presentations on homoeopathic medicine, bach flowers and fermented foods.
“Come and tell us what you’d like to learn more about.
“I set up a similar group in New Zealand prior to moving to Warwick and it is still going strong with 130 members.“
