SOUTHERN CROSS BOWLS
THIS coming Saturday 7 March will be the much anticipated Four Franks day starting at 1.30pm. This always promises to be a great afternoon so anyone wishing to play could you please have your name in by 1pm.

Today, Thursday 5 March, will be our gala day. Morning tea will be at 9am, play to begin at 9.30am, BYO lunch. Could our ladies please be at the club by 8am.

Ladies, we revert back to our normal starting time of 1pm from Thursday 12 March following our meeting at 10.30am. We will also start our singles competition on this day along with social bowls. We have extended our singles nominations to the end of this week so if anyone still wishes to play they can put their names down on Thursday.

The club would like to thank all visiting players and hope all enjoyed the revitalised green for the first time this year.
On Saturday our club hosted the first round of sectional play on behalf of the district and the three winners of the day were G. Roberts (Goondiwindi), P. Bevan (Inglewood) and R. Sellons (Killarney).
Dates to remember, Clifton carnival the 8 March and our own carnival on 15 March. A reminder, the limit for nominations will be 14 teams only, names in early.
Saturday bowls will be twilight again with names by 5.30pm to play 6pm.
