Fun, frolic at Easter Fair

HOT cross buns and chocolate are filling our shelves at the supermarket. There’s a bounce in every child’s step with anticipation of things to come and Warwick Tourism and Events are busy finalising Warwick’s Annual Easter Fair.
Autumn in Leslie Park, happy families, close to 100 market stalls, loads of children’s activities and a visit from the Easter Bunny will combine to create a special day in the Rose City on Saturday 4 April. Easy listening music will fill the park, and a variety of old and new marketeers will showcase their wares, including fresh food, preserves, art and craft items and delicious sweet treats.
Event organiser Rob Hamilton said he was very excited this year to have Spano’s IGA on board as one of the major sponsors.
“Thank you to all the team at Spano’s IGA and we look forward to strengthening this partnership in the future years.”
“Our team have invited Bugs the bunny along, he will lead the kids around the park in a Easter egg hunt, while our local Boys and Girls Brigade, will run plenty of games and challenges to keep the kids entertained.”
Cleo the clown will be on site together with a jumping castle, jumbo slide, pony rides and so much more.
If you’re spending Easter on the Southern Downs, the fair is a must-do for visitors and locals alike, so head down to Leslie Park in Warwick on Easter Saturday between 9am and 2pm.
