THE Watch Out Night … Saving Ernie Echidna is the latest book from Warwick-based children’s author Lynne Pickering, and is aimed at the four to eight years age group.
The story is about a boy called Peter, who helps save Ernie the Echidna who got stuck between two pumpkins in the vegie patch one night.
Katey Koala helps, along with Gilly Galah and a few mice to set Ernie free.
The next morning they all come into the kitchen to thank Peter and meet his mother, much to her surprise.
Lynne says the book is a wonderful story about caring and thoughfulness.
