Art in the mill
IT hardly seems like 15 years ago when a group of local artists approached Pedro and Brenda Curr with the preposterous proposal that they wished to hold an exhibition in the Curr’s Historic Ballandean Case and Timber Mill.
With the continuing generosity of the Curr family, the 15th It’s a Case of Art in the Mill will open on Friday night 1 May with an eclectic mix of artworks from 10 of the region’s finest artists.
Featured artists include Goomburra’s Michael Pospischil, Stanthorpe’s Elspeth Cameron, Chris Fletcher, Richard Pfeiffer, award winning Tenterfield artist Linda Nye and Helen Turrisi.
It’s a Case of Art in the Mill opens on Friday 1 May at 7pm and continues to Saturday 2 and Sunday 3 May from 9am until late in Curr Road, Ballandean.
