KNOW someone in nursing who deserves an award for their hard work?
Darling Downs residents are being called on to nominate someone in the medical field they believe is worthy of recognition for the 2015 Australian Nursing Awards.
The awards cover three categories including outstanding graduate, team, and nurse of the year.
Darling Downs Hospital and Health Services spokeswoman Robyn Henderson said nominations could be lodged by co-workers, supervisors, or members of the public.
“There is a $30,000 prize pool to be distributed across the three categories, and for the first time the awards will be held in Queensland,” Ms Hendersen said.
