A WARWICK man will plead not guilty in Warwick District Court to one count of rape.
Prosecutors allege the man committed a sexual assault on a four-year-old girl in May last year.
Police arrested the man after after a complaint from the girl’s mother.
The man appeared in court on Monday, and the case was adjourned.
Judge Douglas McGill will preside over the case, due to start on Wednesday 1 July.

15 in drug driving net
FIFTEEN motorists tested positive to drug driving across the Darling Downs on the weekend.
“Drivers need to plan their driving. If you are attending a party, drinking, taking drugs either prescription or otherwise, you need to plan options so as not to place yourself or others at risk on Queensland roads,” Brad Clark, Officer in Charge of Toowoomba Road Policing Unit said.
Four drivers were also fined for using mobile phones, Senior Sergeant Clark said.
“You have to ask yourself, is the text or call worth a $341 fine, or even worse, a crash,” he said.

Airlifted from accident
A HUSBAND and wife, 60, were airlifted to hospital after crashing their motorbike on Sunday afternoon.
It is believed the pair were part of a motorcyclist group touring the region, when the bike crashed at the Two Mile bridge, at Pikedale, around noon.
The male suffered a compound fracture to his right arm, an open wound to his abdomen and cuts to both his legs.
Police and Emergency Services were called to attend, and both rider and pillion were taken to Stanthorpe Hospital.
The crash is under investigation.

Dead drunk behind wheel
A MAN who was asleep behind the wheel of his car in Stanthorpe has been arrested for allegedly driving under the influence of alcohol.
Police were notified by Stanthorpe security officers to a stationary vehicle at the intersection of High Street with Connor streets.
Police found the vehicle’s male driver asleep behind the wheel, with the car’s engine still running and in gear.
Police said the 29-year-old foreign national was highly intoxicated.
He was arrested for driving while under the influence of liquor or a drug, and automatically suspended from driving until he appears before the Stanthorpe Magistrates’ Court.
